Protagonistas-El Reality, It's very popular in Spanish speaking countries in Latin America and also airs in Latin communities in the United States. The game format is pretty similar to Big Brother or Operación Triunfo (Star Academy) where a group of people compete in an isolated house to win a contract with a record company or the TV channel. Ruth Diaz got her pass in Chicago Audicions and represented Chicago in Miami finals. This year host was famous mexican actor Ernersto Laguardia. The winner of the season was Laura Aleman from Univision.  The show was aired Monday through Friday 9pm to 10 pm on Univision and Telefutura. There are currently 28 winner from the format and been aired on varius media such as SBT, Canal 13, RCN TV, TV Azteca, Antena 3, Telemundo, Univision, and Venevision.
