The Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration, 9th Annual “Global Latino Fest,” is the marquee signature event highlighting distinguished civic and business leaders along with food, art, culture and entertainment of Latin America.
This year, Global Latino Fest will continue its tradition and support a not–for-profit organization, The Resurrection Project (TRP). The Resurrection Project’s innovative educational project, “La Casa,” an initiative that combines affordable housing with support services to help students least likely to graduate from college, will be the main beneficiary of the event. “La Casa” is located in Pilsen in the heart of Chicago’s Latino Community
