Ruth Diaz walked the celebrity catwaked in Latino Fashion Week on September 30th, 2015 which was the Opening Night. She representing her TV Show Espectaculos y Celebridades on Azteca Chicago as well as EyC News, Entertaiment Segments on Hechos Azteca Nacional channel 61. The event tooked place in downtown Chicago at Block 37 Shopping Mall, on the 3rd floor. Celebrating the 9th year, the event was hosted by the co founders and producers Arabel Alva Rosales and Cesar Rolon. As part of the night, Ruth Diaz opened the run way of celebrities with a designed by Moi Soli. She also took part in the the run way of models with another Moi Soli design
Aside the famouse Latino Fashion Week's runway show that Diaz has been a part of since 2011, she also interviewd various desigener, hair dressers, and models that participated in the event in the opening night. Such as hair and make up artis Alex Lopez.
On Day 3 of Latino Fashion Week that tooked place on October 2nd, 2015, Ruth Diaz participated as a Master of Ceremony of the event next to Chicago comedian Leonardo Luciano.
The surprise of the night was the spanish designer that was representing Ecuador Fashion Week, Gemma Pitarch, who showcast her designs dressing and undressing the models infront of the audience on the runway show, and closing the night with Ruth Diaz modeling her last fashion piece.
